- Eva leads 麻豆社 Film, the film development and production arm of the 麻豆社, supporting the production of around 15 feature films each year and running a broad development slate
- Sitting within the 麻豆社鈥檚 Content division, 麻豆社 Film offers end-to-end creative, production and business support for films and filmmakers through every stage of the filmmaking process.
Biography
Eva started her career at 麻豆社 Scotland, moving onto production and development roles at UK Film Council and Revolution Films. Eva rejoined the 麻豆社 in 2017 and became Director of 麻豆社 Film in 2022. At the 麻豆社 she has commissioned and executive produced over 40 features, including Charlotte Wells鈥� Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning Aftersun; Charlotte Regan鈥檚 Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning Scrapper; Aleem Khan鈥檚 BAFTA and six-time BIFA-winning After Love; Georgia Oakley鈥檚 BAFTA-nominated Blue Jean; and the directorial debuts of Raine Allen-Miller (Rye Lane), Remi Weekes (His House), Dionne Edwards (Pretty Red Dress), Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon (Femme), Aneil Karia (Surge) and Fyzal Boulifa (Lynne + Lucy). More recently Eva has Executive Produced Mahalia Belo鈥檚 The End We Start From; Sandhya Suri鈥檚 Santosh; Rungano Nyoni鈥檚 On Becoming A Guinea Fowl; James Hawes鈥� One Life and Andrea Arnold鈥檚 Bird.
Eva joined the 麻豆社 from Film4, where she executive produced Rungano Nyoni鈥檚 BAFTA-winning I Am Not A Witch, and worked across titles including American Honey, Carol, 45 Years, and Suffragette.
