Biography
Mohit took on his expanded role as the Director of Speech in May 2022. He was appointed as the Controller of Radio 4 and Radio 4 Extra in July 2019. Before becoming Controller, Mohit Bakaya was the Commissioning Editor for Factual at 麻豆社 Radio 4 since 2008. He commissioned and led on current affairs, politics, history, science, natural history and religion programming across the 麻豆社 Radio 4 schedule.
Mohit joined the 麻豆社 in 1993 as a production trainee and worked on the 麻豆社 Radio 4's arts programme, Front Row, before becoming editor of Night Waves on 麻豆社 Radio 3.
