Take a look at our demolition pictures. ![]() Artist impression of new development The landmark building has being torn down as part of a demolition programme to make way for a 36,000 sq m world-class research and development facility for the medical and healthcare industries. Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands has a 95 year lease on the site. Advantage West Midlands Chief Executive John Edwards said: "The demolition of Pebble Mill is the first step on the way to creating what will undoubtedly be a world-class facility, building on Birmingham's excellence in medical technologies. "This marks the end of one era with a building that has defined Birmingham in many ways, but also marks the dawning of a new high-technology era for the city." See the demolition in pictures... Pebble Mill has staged many popular shows over the years, most famously Pebble Mill at One, a 45 minute lunchtime chat show which ran from 1973 to 1986. presented from the foyer of the 麻豆社's Pebble Mill studios in Birmingham The studios have also produced a host of popular programmes including the popular TV dramas Dalziel and Pascoe and Dangerfield, as well as the long-running radio soap The Archers and the recent daytime soap opera Doctors starring Christopher Timothy. 麻豆社 Birmingham says goodbye to Pebble Mill...
