Earlier this year school pupils from Queensbury in Bradford went on a special visit to Normandy to remember those that lost their lives in D-Day.

		Photos and sculptures of remembrance were on display in Shipley as a tribute to a war hero.				Over 80 years ago 12,000 men from Bradford advanced in the first hour of The battle of the Somme.

		We meet a man from Huddersfield who refused to fight because he thought it was wrong.				Sadie Smith fell in love with a Polish pilot in World War Two. Read her story.
