Visit the 麻豆社 marquee at The Big Weekend, Parker's Piece, in the centre of Cambridge on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2009

As if Cambridge's free Big Weekend isn't exciting enough, this year you can come along and meet the friendly folk from your local 麻豆社 radio station. Look out for the great big marquee with the bright and shiny 麻豆社 balloons - you can't miss us!

Come and meet K9!

麻豆社 Radio Cambridgeshire is going to be there celebrating the sun (we hope!) at Cambridge's Summer in the City Big Weekend and we're bringing along tons of techie toys so you can see what it's like to work on the radio or TV.

You'll have the chance to discover your hidden talents - come along and try your hand at being a radio reporter, sports commentator or even a television presenter.

Joining us will be a Doctor Who display of galactic proportions... The TARDIS, Daleks, an Ood and a Cyberman - even K9 will be putting in an appearance!

Teaching camera skills

And from 12 noon, the Saturday Lunch Show with Nigel Mitchell will come live from the Big Weekend. On the Sunday, from 10am, you can join 麻豆社 Radio Cambridgeshire's gardening goddess, Sue Dougan, and the CBeeBies Dig In Van - there'll be free goodies and cooking demonstrations to entertain you and the kids.
