What makes a good joke?
You can make a joke about almost anything - just remember to be kind! A joke is something you say, write, or do to make people laugh. It can be a short story or a question with a surprising or silly answer... just like in a quiz!
To make a great joke, you usually need two parts: the setup and the punchline.
The setup gets things going 鈥 it tells the story or asks the question.
The punchline is the twist 鈥 the funny or unexpected bit that makes you laugh!
The surprise is what makes it work. Your brain thinks it knows what's coming鈥 but then the joke takes a different turn 鈥 and that鈥檚 what makes it so funny!
