Her consumption of 'Woman's Own' made them champion speed knitters and of Olympic caliber at creating cheap and cheerful recipes with rice crispies.
The twins also posses an uncanny (and some would say sinister) ability to solve bizarre sex crimes due to Ethel's occasional but eclectic munching of porn – including 'Big Un's', 'Men in their boxers' and 'Farmyard Frolics'.
