Complaint
A viewer objected to a 麻豆社 correspondent鈥檚 reference to 鈥渞ecent images appearing to show malnutrition of so many Palestinians in Gaza鈥 on the grounds that it implied doubt about the reality of famine in Gaza. The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the 麻豆社鈥檚 editorial standards of accuracy.
Outcome
As the words complained of occurred in a context which left no doubt about the grounds for concern about malnutrition in Gaza, the ECU saw no prospect that they would have misled viewers about the reality of the situation there.
