Complaint
A viewer complained that the presenter, Fiona Bruce, showed partiality towards a panel-member, Matt Goodwin, who was introduced as a supporter of Reform UK while 鈥渟hutting down鈥 other panellists. The ECU considered the complaints in the light of the 麻豆社鈥檚 editorial standards of impartiality.
Outcome
The ECU found no grounds for the view that Mr Goodwin received favourable treatment from Ms Bruce and noted that, at one point, he was quite forcefully asked by Ms Bruce to 鈥渁nswer the question鈥 put by a member of the audience.
