Where can I learn more about the �鶹�� Proms 2026?

The �鶹�� Proms 2026 run from Friday 17 July to Saturday 12 September at London’s Royal Albert Hall and venues across the UK.

There will be 86 concerts. Every note will be broadcast on �鶹�� Radio 3 and �鶹�� Sounds. There will also be 24 Proms programmes on �鶹�� TV and iPlayer.

Can I get a copy of a programme I featured in?

If you or your company, organisation or property has been featured in a �鶹�� programme, you may be able to purchase a copy. Please read the information below carefully and if you would like to request a copy, click the 'contact us' button at the end of this page on the right hand side.

The copy supplied is for personal use only. Any unauthorised use, transmission, distribution or reproduction of the material supplied through the Contributor Access process is not permitted under any circumstances.

Who can make a request?

Anyone who has made a substantial contribution to a programme, e.g. credited as a performer, writer, guest or production team member. This does not include studio audience members or those seen only in a crowd scene or group. Relatives may make a request on the subject's behalf.

What programmes are not available?

Programmes not broadcast on the �鶹�� or other non-�鶹�� programmes
Programmes not held in the �鶹�� Archives
No sports programmes pre-1966. Sports programmes may not be available dependent on age or original source format.
�鶹�� World Service radio and �鶹�� World News television programmes
Copies of programmes only available on film (due to the higher cost of providing copies of acceptable quality)

How much does it cost?

We are required to cover all the costs of providing copies. Costs include research, sourcing and transferring of material, administrative and postal charges.
Programmes copies are delivered as digital files. Television programmes as MP4 files; radio as WAV files.

Prices:

Digital file (radio programmes supplied as WAV, TV programmes as MP4)	£60
Digital file (MP4 or WAV) of subsequent episodes in a series (when ordered at the same time)	£30

If you were offered a free copy by the production team, please contact them directly as �鶹�� Archives cannot provide a copy free of charge.

Copies supplied to contributors may be made from archive recordings of varying quality reflecting the age and original format. Therefore, the standard of copies made from older formats may be considerably lower than those from more recent programmes.

Sometimes music is taken from our internal production library which means it's not available commercially in the same way other music might be. It also means we may not have information such as track names or artists.

How can I follow the FIFA World Cup 2026 across TV, iPlayer, Radio, �鶹�� Sport online and YouTube?

The FIFA World Cup 2026 starts on Thursday 11 June 2026 with 104 games to be played across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

54 matches will be shown live on the �鶹��, including the final on Sunday 19 July. World Cup fixtures and scores can be found on the �鶹�� Sport page titled FIFA World Cup Scores & Fixtures.

92 games will be on �鶹�� Sounds and every match will be covered on the �鶹�� Sport website and app. �鶹�� Sport is providing World Cup coverage across YouTube, TikTok and social channels.

The props and costumes used in our programmes can come from a variety of different sources, and we don’t always have information to give out on them.

You might want to try searching for the official social media accounts for the programme, for example on Twitter or Facebook. They may post information about the props or costumes used on their programme there.

Can I get a transcript for a TV or radio programme?

You can access transcripts for In Touch on �鶹�� Radio 4 by visiting the specific episode page. Transcripts are also available for most Reith Lectures on each individual episode page. You can also access scripts for some �鶹�� programmes on the �鶹�� Writers website.

Aside from these examples, transcripts are rarely made available for �鶹�� radio or TV programmes. On the occasion that a transcript is made available, you can find it on the programme’s website. Check our A-Z programme directory to find the programme's website.
