Behind The Scenes Photo Diary by Okey Anyanwu, Production Runner on Jane Eyre
Collecting Rushes
Okey: "Each night after wrap the film negatives are couriered to London, where they are telecined and the first positive prints made.
"These positive prints are called the rushes and consist of Beta SP tapes that contain the visuals, a DAT which contains the audio and a floppy disk containing the Edit Decision List (EDL). Also included are three DVDs for Susanna (Director), Diederick (Producer) and Mike (Director Of Photography).
"While filming at Belton House, Grantham [Reed House interior], I collect the rushes from Nigel, the Rushes Courier, before driving to the production office each morning."
