Damon Albarn introduced eighty six year old George 'Young Tiger' Brown to an admiring crowd. Tiger remained seated throughout this short performance and sang from a prepared lyric sheet. He was clearly pleased as punch to be performing again after a short break of nearly fifty years! Young Tiger was ably assisted by the 'London is the Place for Me Allstars', a seven piece band which included double bass, bongos and the finger picking guitar of Pete Beresford. The band finished with the rousing of "I Was There (At The Coronation)" and left to rapturous applause.
