Grammy-nominated Dutch-Turkish band Altın Gün brings its unique blend of psychedelic folk-rock to the Â鶹Éç Proms for the first time, drawing on its recent Anatolian rock album Garip (‘Strange’), a tribute to the great Turkish folk musician NeÅŸet ErtaÅŸ. The band joins forces with special guest Derya Yıldırım, Jules Buckley and the Â鶹Éç Symphony Orchestra to turn cool riffs and Anatolian folk textures into rich orchestral colours.
