      John Wilson, whose recent discs of Copland with the 麻豆社 Philharmonic were described by Gramophone magazine as 鈥榦utstanding鈥�, returns to the orchestras Salford studio for an American-themed afternoon.

      This afternoon鈥檚 programme includes Connotations 鈥� a piece commissioned by Leonard Bernstein in 1962 to commemorate the opening of New York鈥檚 Philharmonic Hall.
