On 6 March 2026, we mark 75 years since the passing of Ivor Novello - one of Wales’s most iconic musical talents.

Born in Cardiff, Novello left an extraordinary legacy, composing more than 230 published songs and creating eight West End musicals that shaped British musical theatre for over thirty years.

To celebrate his enduring influence, Â鶹Éç NOW joins forces with conductor and Novello specialist Ian McMillan-Davidson for a special Gala Tribute edition of the Â鶹Éç’s longest-running live music show, Friday Night is Music Night, broadcast live from Â鶹Éç Hoddinott Hall on Â鶹Éç Radio 3.

Featuring soprano Jessica Robinson, tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths, and mezzo-soprano Claire Barnett-Jones, the concert showcases some of Novello’s most cherished works, including We’ll Gather Lilacs, Keep the Home Fires Burning, and many more timeless favourites.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of this remarkable concert as tickets will sell out fast!
