On 6 March 2026, we mark 75 years since the passing of Ivor Novello - one of Wales鈥檚 most iconic musical talents.
Born in Cardiff, Novello left an extraordinary legacy, composing more than 230 published songs and creating eight West End musicals that shaped British musical theatre for over thirty years.
To celebrate his enduring influence, 麻豆社 NOW joins forces with conductor and Novello specialist Ian McMillan-Davidson for a special Gala Tribute edition of the 麻豆社鈥檚 longest-running live music show, Friday Night is Music Night, broadcast live from 麻豆社 Hoddinott Hall on 麻豆社 Radio 3.
Featuring soprano Jessica Robinson, tenor Trystan Ll欧r Griffiths, and mezzo-soprano Claire Barnett-Jones, the concert showcases some of Novello鈥檚 most cherished works, including We鈥檒l Gather Lilacs, Keep the Home Fires Burning, and many more timeless favourites.
Don鈥檛 miss the chance to be part of this remarkable concert as tickets will sell out fast!
