About This Event

The 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra is joined by conductor Martyn Brabbins for its second concert of the season. Anthony Payne鈥檚 Spring鈥檚 Shining Wake, which takes its inspiration from Frederick Delius鈥檚 In a Summer Garden, is followed by Berlioz鈥檚 dazzling song-cycle Les nuits d鈥櫭﹖茅, featuring mezzo-soprano Dame Sarah Connolly. Beethoven's 鈥楶astoral鈥� Symphony No. 6 rounds off the evening.
