This is your chance to come and experience the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra in concert at the 麻豆社鈥檚 Maida Vale Studios.

The French composer, pianist and teacher Louise Farrenc (1804-1875) enjoyed a considerable reputation during her own lifetime. But her music is almost unknown in the UK, unlike that of her compatriot Gabriel Faur茅 (1845-1924) Faur茅's Pell茅as et M茅lisande Suite is derived from the music he wrote for the London production of Maurice Maeterlinck's tragic play in 1898.

And there鈥檚 music by the famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), his famously romantic Piano Concerto and two movements of his incidental music for Ibsen鈥檚 play, Peer Gynt.

The French conductor Fran莽ois Leleux and 麻豆社 Radio 3 Generation Artist Elizabeth Brauss (piano) make their debuts with the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra. And the concert is presented by Natasha Riordan.
