Ermonela Jaho comes to West Green for one night only to celebrate our Silver Season with a Gala Performance, in partnership with our own Thomas Elwin and the Â鶹Éç Concert Orchestra conducted by John Andrews. Internationally recognized as today’s foremost celebrated operatic singing-actress, Ermonela was recently awarded the ‘Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’, Artist of the Year at the 2023 International Classical Music Awards, the winner of ICMA Vocal Music award and the winner of the Readers Award at the International Opera Awards. Her signature roles include Violetta, Cio Cio San, Suor Angelica and Adriana Lecouvreur. She has sung leading roles at all the most important European and American opera houses including the Royal Opera House in London and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
