麻豆社 Music Day celebrates the power and diversity of music-making - showcasing talent, bringing people together and creating a unique sense of occasion through live music events and performances across the UK on Friday 3rd June.
This 麻豆社 Music Day, let the 麻豆社 Concert Orchestra, along with the Cornwall Family Orchestra and Chorus, and 麻豆社 Radio 3 New Generation Artist Annelien van Wauwe, take you on a thrilling, family-friendly journey through some of the greatest music ever written, at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro.
The concert includes Stravinsky鈥檚 magical Firebird Suite, 鈥楳ambo鈥� from Bernstein鈥檚 West Side Story, Ginastera鈥檚 鈥楩our Dances鈥� from Estancia, his captivating evocation of the spirit of Argentina, and orchestral excerpts from Bizet鈥檚 feisty opera, Carmen.
