Daniel Ward, an art and design student from Market Weighton, used the Â鶹Éç building in Hull as the basis for his final piece of course work.

Initially asked to pick a landscape, Daniel decided to go with something more abstract based on a cityscape.

Being a fan of the look of Queen's Court he designed his work around the colours and textures of the newly built building.Ìý

Inspired by the likes of Picasso and the Cubist movement, GCSE pupil Daniel told Â鶹Éç Humber how he produced the picture.
