A live programme is what's being broadcast on a TV channel at that moment, or an event that's being broadcast at the same time that it's happening, for example, live football matches, concerts or ceremonies. These can be watched at the live point, or if your device supports it, rewound to the beginning (up to two hours).
On-demand programmes (or video on demand/VOD) are programmes that aren't live, and that you can watch whenever you want. They are usually programmes that the Â鶹Éç has already broadcast on a TV channel, or programmes that are available exclusively on Â鶹Éç iPlayer. On-demand programmes are available on Â鶹Éç iPlayer subject to availability and programme rights.
