Aircraft for this years Battle of Britain air display in Jersey have begun arriving at the airport.

Several have been delayed by the bad weather, but organisers say the display will go ahead as planned.

Those of you in Jersey with your windows open on Wednesday will have heard the noise of a Jaguar aircraft practising its diaplay over St Aubins bay.

Its just one of the aircraft which have managed to get past the fog that has so far affected a number of the planes flying.

Organisers say the modern jets will be able to land safely, but some of the older aircraft will wait until the skies clear.

The Static display is open from 14:30 and you can park at the airport social club, there will also be a guided tour of all the aircraft which have arrived so far - including the Red Arrows, a hercules, the Utterly Butterly wingwalkers biplanes, and the tornado.

There will be a collection for the RAFA at the gate.
