Key Skills Communication can be a big help, even if you're not planning on studying anymore. If you're planning to head off into the world of work, you'll find that you're at an advantage if you can show that you can you're a good communicator.

There are a variety of situation where you'll be able to use the communication skills that you've learnt. These include:

  • Talking to the public
  • Talking to workmates
  • Writing letters or e-mails
  • Writing reports
  • Working in teams
  • Learning new things
  • Reporting to your bosses
  • Presenting ideas and information to others

It's not easy starting in a new job, but it's a whole lot easier if you go in with a few tricks up your sleeve to help you cope with everyday situations. That way you'll be much more confident about doing your job.
