Pressure Groups
The Leaflet
Ìý
Ìý

Pressure groups need to get their message across and they often choose to do this in a variety of ways. An effective leaflet can do just that.

key pointWhat is a leaflet?

  • Usually a single sheet of A4 paper. It can be folded once which makes a front cover of A5 size or it can be folded several times which can give you a leaflet with several panels.
  • The front of the leaflet should really be 'attention grabbing' - any detailed information that you want to get over to the readers can be placed on the inner panels.
  • It should carry a logo
  • It could have a tear-off section so that you can send off for more information about the group should you want it.

key pointThings to consider:-

  • Design and layout
  • Style
  • Placing of pictures and text
  • Use of language
