Chris’s database now works and can be used for what he wants. However, he wishes to present a more corporate image to his employees and customers alike, so he decides that an input screen, often called a form, is required.

key point

A form allows you to input information into the database.

You build forms by dragging the textboxes onto your screen, and then linking them to fields in the database. Have a look at this form that Chris has designed for the membership database.

Chris's membership form showing: customer name, house number, street name, town, county, postcode, telephone number and membership number.

Go to the next screen to have a look at creating a report.
