Two supermarket chains, 'A' and 'B', sell a low-cost value brand label, a standard own brand label and nationally advertised brand labels of baked beans. The charts show the
distribution of each type they sell. Make two statements about the difference between the customers of the supermarkets.

Answer and commentary
The important thing is to pick up details from the charts and make reasonable statements from them. Here are some examples:
- Nearly half of all shoppers at supermarket A buy the standard own brand. This suggests that they look for value but are less likely to buy
the cheapest.
- Half of the shoppers at supermarket B buy brand label goods. This suggests that either they are pressured on cost or that they are most influenced
by advertising.
- Shoppers at supermarket B buy more "value" products than "own brand". This suggests that they are influenced by low prices
if they choose not to buy brand label goods.
- Shoppers at supermarket A are much less likely to buy "value" brand than shoppers at supermarket B. This suggests they have less tight budgets for their shopping.
