There
are up to 2,500 hotels and guest houses in Blackpool - that's about
90,000 bed spaces! The majority of guest houses along the prom are
privately owned, hence keeping in with the traditional family image.
Although there are some themed hotels on offer now, where you can
book yourself into the Elvis suite for example!
The
famous Golden Mile covers the strip of road in the central beach
area between the North and Central Piers, famous for its amusement
arcades, tram and donkey rides, pubs, fish and chip shops and bingo
halls.
