I used to line in Holly fold farm, Bickerstaffe ( not skelmersdale). It was great at Christmas, we has 3 7foot Christmas Trees, and a real coal fire in all 3 of the downstairs lounges, and even main the bedroom! Scrouge eat your heart out!

The most festive place or village i have seen is Mellor village near Blackburn and the street where my mother lives is only a tiny street but is very beautifully lite with various twinkle lights and outdoor decorations galore. People here have really made an effort in Mellor with so many lights in peoples windows and front gardens and i think that Mellor is delightful

The Most Festive place will be Embsay North Yorkshire this Christmas a few days before there are going to be a market on the large carpark and carol singers, santa claus and his reindeers and methodist singers, and lots of celebrations including a brass band to celebrate Christmas New year etc so as a resident i am looking forward to seeing my village transformed into a Christmas Wonderland it is only a small tiny village community but it is very beautiful at the moment with various decorations outdoor lights and a lovely xmas tree where the old Elm tree was next to The Elm Tree Pub.
