ich bin + profession
Ich bin Versandleiter (von Beruf)
ÌýI am a distribution manager (by profession).
Ich bin Personalleiter
ÌýI am a personnel manager.
Ich bin Verkaufsleiter
ÌýI am a sales manager.
Ich bin Einkaufsleiterin
ÌýI am a chief buyer (woman).

When stating your profession you don't need to use the word a, an (called an article) as you do in English.

Where the article is used, for example: Ich bin die Produktionsekretärin, it's to state your position in the firm not your profession.

Note that by adding -in onto the end of some nouns, you can make them feminine, for example: Sekretärin, Einkaufsleiterin.
