Martin, an amateur photographer who lives in Mirfield says: "Here are some pictures of I took of Leeds just before the snows came in February. "I use a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range) which entails taking three different exposures of the same shot, then blending them together, so capturing the extremes of light and dark, much like the eye would see. "I also favour another technique called Tilt Shift, this creates the effect of making the subject appear in miniature form. "I am now experimenting with the HDR technique using real people, which is quite challenging as the subject of the photography must remain still to enable me to capture three exposures. See Martin's pictures"I use a Fuji Finepix digital SLR with a fixed lens. 听"I am currently negotiating with Leeds City Council, with a view to exhibiting some of my work in the future." last updated: 09/02/2009 at 11:18 You are in: Leeds > In Pictures > Online Gallery > Gallery: Photography > A different light |
