Comedy Comes To Town

Join the Â鶹Éç audience for a unique free comedy night previewing the Liverpool Comedy Festival, back for its sixth year. To get your free tickets, just drop us a line or telephone Â鶹Éç Radio Merseyside on 0151 794 0984.

Liverpool may not have had much to laugh about recently, robbed as it was of a Homecoming Hooley by a couple of jammy goals from Inter Milan. But with the annual Liverpool Comedy festival about to kick off – that should all change.

The Festival brings new and established comedy talent to the city from the 7th to 24th of June and there’s a chance to join the audience here in our Â鶹Éç Studios in Hanover Street for a unique alternative comedy night this Tuesday June 5th from 7.30 with a great line up.

Fun and frolics

To take your place for this evening of fun and frolics (yes – there will be frolicking) just drop us your name and contact details and we’ll put your name in our comedy hat.

Bear in mind that you must be over eighteen years of age and that the show does contain strong language.

Laurence Clark

Comedian Marcus Birdman will be trying to keep control of Slaughterhouse Live, Laurence Clark, Keith Carter and Hoof. Marcus took his solo show, ‘One Step Beyond’ to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2004 and has featured on Â鶹Éç Radio’s ‘Spanking New’’. He’s not from round here but he’s still pretty funny so we’re letting him in. And no doubt Keith Carter’s alter ego Nige will make an appearance too.

They say laughter’s free and this time it really is!

To get your free tickets to this comedy night just drop us a line or telephone Â鶹Éç Radio Merseyside on 0151 794 0984.
