Sefton Park, Walton Hall Park and Newsham ParkUp to 100,000 people are expected from all over the city and the surrounding area to enjoy displays at Sefton Park, Walton Hall Park and Newsham Park. All of the displays are free, start at 7.30pm and last for around 20 minutes. Parking is restricted close to the parks, so arrive in plenty of time. Visitors to the fireworks are advised to travel on foot or by public transport. HaltonTime to wrap up warm and enjoy Halton's free annual firework display held on November 5, 2008. The sky over Halton will be filled with a stunning array of colour during the 20 minute display as the fireworks explode into the air accompanied by music with a "Bond " theme. There will be street entertainment from 6.30pm. The fireworks will be starting at approx 7.30pm. Viewing from Mersey Road, Runcorn & Victoria Promenade, West Bank, Widnes with free parking in Runcorn & Widnes Town Centres & Catalyst Car Park, Spike Island, Widnes. WirralWirral Council is once again staging a number of community fireworks displays on November, 5, 2008 to celebrate Bonfire Night. All displays start at 6.30pm and all are free admission.The venues staging the displays are as follows: Birkenhead Park, Birkenhead; Central Park, Wallasey; Lingham Park, Moreton; Mayer Park, Bebington; Upton Park, Moreton; Mersey Park, Tranmere; Woodchurch Community Centre, Woodchurch; Leasowe Adventure Playground, Leasowe. At Leasowe there is also a community bonfire. KnowsleyThe Mill Farm Fireworks Display will take place again on November 5, 2008. The venue is Mill Farm Adventure Playground, Mill Lane, Towerhill, Kirkby. Fun starts at 5pm with children's fair rides.
