The wait is almost over and on Saturday 18 January, Gladiators is back on the 麻豆社.

Series two promises to be back tougher and more powerful than ever and will not only see the long-awaited return of the legendary Atlaspheres and introduction to brand-new event, Unleash, but two brand new Gladiators will be entering the arena during the series and are ready to put up a fight.

23-year-old Cyclone is an Irish Powerlifter and at 5 foot 10 considers herself the ultimate all-round athlete.

Cyclone says 鈥淚鈥檝e got the look, I鈥檝e got the energy and I鈥檝e got the muscles.鈥�

Joining Cyclone is 32-year-old World Rowing Champion, Hammer, from Nottingham. At 6 foot 5, Hammer claims that the combination of his strength and speed, at the height and size that he is, is rare and sets him apart from everyone else.

Hammer says 鈥淲hen you鈥檝e got 19 stone sprinting at you, you鈥檝e got no chance. I鈥檓 getting you.鈥�

Bradley and Barney Walsh kick off a brand-new series on Saturday 18 January from 5.50pm on 麻豆社 One and iPlayer. Along with the exciting new additions, viewers will see return of fan favourites Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel and Viper as they face a fresh crop of gritty Contenders.
