Summer Salad of Sunshine Pop

Fixers, an experimental surf dance quintet from Oxford, were the very first band to take the Â鶹Éç Introducing daytime playlist slot on Radio 1. They were introduced as "a gorgeous summer salad of west coast psychedelia and spaced out, lysergic sunshine pop"and finally we had experimental surf dance on daytime Radio 1!

They've already performed on the Â鶹Éç Introducing stage at T in the Park 2010 and after being fully supported by Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe, and Â鶹Éç Introducing in Oxford we just had to invite them back to our stage to headline this year.

The band draw influences from the likes of Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks, let's just hope for Californian Beach Boys inspired weather at Reading/Leeds (fingers crossed).

Can I listen to or watch Fixers perform?
