Pensions in payment annual increase 2025
Under the Rules of the 麻豆社 Pension Scheme, pensions in payment are reviewed annually and guaranteed increases are awarded on 1 April based on the Retail Prices Index (RPI) or Consumer Prices Index (CPI) for the previous calendar year ending 31 December, subject to a cap. -
2024 Valuation completed
The Chair of the Trustee Board explained in the 2024 Summary Report that the Trustee of the Scheme and the 麻豆社 had agreed to carry out a full actuarial valuation as at 1 April 2024. -
Commutation Factors Are Changing
The rate at which pension that is about to start can be exchanged for a lump sum at retirement is changing from 1 January 2025. -

Update on data security incident
The 麻豆社鈥檚 information security team has alerted us to a data security incident, in which some files containing personal information of some 麻豆社 Pension Scheme members were copied from a cloud-based storage service. -

Partial Transfers
The Scheme is introducing a new option for members to consider when making their pension choices. Recognising that some members may want a mix of some pension payable for life from the 麻豆社 Pension Scheme plus pension saving that can be accessed more flexibility, from 1 April 2023 you may be able to request a partial transfer of your pension. -

麻豆社 Future Pension Review
The 麻豆社 has said it is reviewing its future pension provision for its employees and that the 麻豆社 Board has, therefore, recently decided to ask the High Court to rule on the correct interpretation of one of the Rules of the 麻豆社 Pension Scheme. -
