• MSA authorised motor sport is classified by the British Government as safer than horse-riding, climbing and fishing!

• There will be over 600 highly-trained volunteer track side marshals on duty around the track.ÌýThis includes 290 fire and course marshals, 75 flag marshals, 50 observers and 30 incident officers.

• Throughout the three days of the British Grand Prix, a team of 100 medical staff including 40 doctors will be on site to deal with any medical problem among the competitors and visitors.

• A fleet of 23 ambulances and 100-strong medical team is on call during the British Grand Prix, and is placed at strategic points around the circuit.

• Silverstone's Medical Centre is one of the best equipped Accident & Emergency facilities in Northamptonshire with a 14 bed hospital and its own heli-pad.
