ALL IN THE NAME

Sports Minister, Nelson McCausland, is warning GAA clubs which adopt the names of dead IRA members that they could have their funding cut. He says officials at Sport NI are currently examining clauses in their grant making arrangements to advise whether any changes to funding should be considered. He spoke to Paul McFadden, along with the Sinn Fein MLA, Francie Brolly, whose constituency has a hurling club which is named after the INLA hunger striker Kevin Lynch.
