Somewhere in the countryside between Donemana and Newbuildings, a local pensioner lived without human contact for three weeks during the cold snap. For part of that time, Jo Clarke, who who needs a stick to walk, was also without water. She was cut off by sheets of ice on the roads. Eve Blair, in her four by four, braved the journey for the Mark Patterson Show.
