Riverside Festival 2009

Have a go at broadcasting with the 麻豆社 at this year's Riverside Festival.

Nottingham's largest family festival is free and offers live world and roots music, street theatre, children's arts as well as fairground attractions and food stalls.

The three day event, from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August, is held at Victoria Embankment, along the banks of the River Trent adjacent to Trent Bridge.

Highlights include fireworks over the River Trent on the Saturday night and the Dragon Boat Challenge followed by the annual duck race on the Sunday.

麻豆社 at Riverside Festival

The 麻豆社 will also be present at the Riverside Festival.

On the Saturday 麻豆社 Nottingham will be offering you the chance to meet and chat with the presenters of 麻豆社 East Midlands Today, Dominic Heale and Kylie Pentelow.

You can have a go at sports commentary, following the help and advice of 麻豆社 Radio Nottingham's Chris Ellis and 麻豆社 East Midlands Today's Ross Fletcher.

And if you're feeling brave enough you can step in front of the 麻豆社 cameras, do a 'live' news report or present the weather, guided by weather presenter Sally Pepper.

Alternatively, take a tour of the 麻豆社 East Midlands Today's satellite truck with one of our operators or be shown around the 麻豆社 Radio Nottingham's radio car.

If that stresses you out too much - don't worry. You can always visit the 麻豆社 Headroom tent. This is a place to unwind your mind, where you can take part in activities to help you deal with life's ups and downs.
