Title: count
Every month, Oxford police count the number of people living on the city's streets. Their search takes them to the canalside, the railway and the sewers. Last month, Dan joined the police on the count. It wasn't like anything he'd seen before. He was genuinely shocked by the way some homeless people in Oxford live and the contrasting lifestyles of people in our city. By the end of the night, the team had found nine people living under bridges, in garages and by the canal. Dan went home to his bed.
