New Managing Editors for 麻豆社 Local Radio Stations

麻豆社 English Regions today announced the appointment of new Managing Editors for 麻豆社 Radios Stoke, Shropshire and Suffolk.

Sue Owen, appointed at 麻豆社 Radio Stoke, is joining the 麻豆社 from the Chrysalis Group where she has worked for seven years, currently as the National Editorial Director for the Digital News Network.

She is not a complete stranger to the 麻豆社, having worked at 麻豆社 Radio York in the late 1980s. Sue is replacing Mark Hurrell, who is moving to a new position as Managing Editor of 麻豆社 Radio Gloucestershire.

Gerald Main is taking over at 麻豆社 Radio Suffolk in succession to David Peel, who is retiring from the 麻豆社.

Gerald is currently presenter of the consumer show at 麻豆社 Radio Cambridgeshire. He joined 麻豆社 Local Radio in 1979 as a station assistant at 麻豆社 Radio Lancashire.

Since then he has accummulated a wealth of experience, including spells at 麻豆社 Radio Northampton, 麻豆社 Three Counties Radio and 麻豆社 Radio Training.

The new Managing Editor at 麻豆社 Radio Shropshire is Tim Pemberton, who is currently running 麻豆社 Radio 2002 - the Commonwealth Games radio station.

Previously, Tim was a senior producer in Religion & Ethics at 麻豆社 Manchester, co-ordinating major projects such as the annual Faith in the Nations Week and the Young Choristers of the Year competition.

He joined the 麻豆社 in 1989 as a production trainee in 麻豆社 Midlands so is returning to home turf. Tim is successor to Tony Fish, who is retiring from the 麻豆社.
