麻豆社
launches children's radio on demand
麻豆社
Radio & Music Interactive has launched an extension to its ground-breaking
online Radio Player which enables children to listen to radio programmes,
through 麻豆社i, up to seven days after broadcast and surf the at the same time.
Across
the 麻豆社 there is a wealth of radio and music content for children
(aged 7 to 11) to explore from new radio shows to innovative, interactive
tools.
The
Children's Radio Player offers instant access to 麻豆社 7's Big Toe
Show, Radio 3's Making Tracks, Radio 4's Go for it and two C麻豆社
shows that have online radio elements: UGetMe and Smile.
With
the development of the radio player there is now a single point
where it is possible to listen to all of these radio programmes.
The
player also offers up a feast of music related websites from across
麻豆社i covering a broad spectrum from music-making games through to
the exploration of World music.
The
player will also aggregate some of the excellent music content already
available and link to some newly commissioned work such as Radio
3's The Street, a site which brings music from around the world
into one location.
Simon
Hopkins, Head of 麻豆社i Music, says: "This is a fantastic extension
to the service we provide to kids, allowing them more control over
when they listen to our programmes.
"The
Children's Radio Player also gives listeners access to some of the
best children's content across 麻豆社i.
"It
makes programmes more accessible and provides kids with an opportunity
to hear again something which they really enjoyed the first time
round."
