scoops two interactive Baftas
The
麻豆社 scooped two awards at the 2003 Bafta Interactive Awards on Thursday
19 February - one for the Celebdaq website and
one for the interactive radio drama Dark House.
Celebdaq,
the virtual stock exchange website which allows users to buy and
sell shares in celebrities, won the Online Entertainment category
for the best use of the internet to deliver a pure entertainment
experience.
Celebdaq
was created by the 麻豆社's Interactive Drama & Entertainment
department and was one of the first 麻豆社 online formats to successfully
transfer to television, becoming a series on 麻豆社 THREE.
Dark
House, a joint production between 麻豆社 New Media's Creative Research
& Development team, 麻豆社 Radio & Music Interactive, Radio
4 and Radio Drama, won in the Best Technical Innovation category.
Dark
House invited listeners inside the heads of its three protagonists
and, at regular three-minute 'switching points', allowed them to
change the perspective of the drama by voting by text or by telephone.
