麻豆社 wins 11 out of 17 Bafta Television Awards

The 麻豆社 won 11 out of 17 British Academy (Bafta) Television Awards at last night's ceremony in London.

They included two awards for The Office - Best Comedy Performance and Best Sitcom.

In January this year The Office won two prestigious Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.

The 麻豆社 Bafta winners were:

Best Actor - Bill Nighy, for State of Play, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Actress - Julie Walters, for Canterbury Tales: Wife of Bath, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Entertainment Performance - Jonathan Ross, for Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Comedy Performance - Ricky Gervais, for The Office Christmas Special, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Drama Serial - Charles II - The Power and the Passion, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Factual Series or Strand (Huw Wheldon award) - The National Trust, 麻豆社 FOUR and 麻豆社 TWO;

Best Documentary (Flaherty award) - ONE life: Lager, Mum and Me, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Current Affairs - The Secret Policeman, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Entertainment Programme or Series (Lew Grade award) - Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Situation Comedy - The Office Christmas Special, 麻豆社 ONE;

Best Comedy Programme or Series - Little Britain, 麻豆社 THREE and 麻豆社 TWO.

In addition, 麻豆社 Political Editor Andrew Marr won the Richard Dimbleby Award and 麻豆社 ONE's Only Fools and Horses won the Radio Times Audience Award.

The British Academy Television Awards were sponsored by the Radio Times.
