Âé¶¹Éç World Service has teamed up with Kenya's leading mobile phone services providerÌýtoÌýunveilÌýan international breaking news alert and headline news service.

While Âé¶¹Éç breaking news alerts will now be available onÌýthe Safaricom Get iT 411 infotainment channel, Safaricom subscribersÌýwill also able to accessÌýÂé¶¹Éç international headlines and African football newsÌýon demand.

Safaricom'sÌýGetÌýiT 411 is an SMS based information service providing subscribers with instantÌýinformation and entertainment news alerts both on request and through subscription.Ìý

Âé¶¹Éç World Service is an international radio and online broadcaster with 146 million listeners around the world.Ìý

In Kenya it is available onÌýshort waveÌýfrequencies and on FM frequencies in Kisumu 88.2 FM, Mombasa 93.9 FM, Nairobi 93.7 FMÌýand Nyeri 92.3 FMÌýin both English and Swahili.
