1. What's the hardest word you've ever had to spell?
Toponymy.
2. How do you remember how to spell words?
I say it four to six times, then spell it out loud.
3. Do spelling tests help you remember?
No!
4. Have you always been good at spelling?
Yes!
5. Were the words in the competition easier or harder than you
expected?
They were easier than I expected.
6. What was the most difficult part of the competition?
The second round's beginning.
7. What did you enjoy most about it?
The finding out that I'd won.
8. What's your favourite word?
Aardvark.
9. What are your hobbies/interests?
I enjoy karate, rugby, badminton, all types of music (except 60s music)
and looking after the squirrels in my garden.
10. What's your ambition?
To become a famous musician or a naturalist or a judge or a journalist.
