Edith Bowman (Radio 1, Celebrity Fame Academy, Glastonbury) and Dougie Anderson (RI:SE, That's So Last Week, Glastonbury) will join forces to present Â鶹Éç Scotland's 2005 coverage of prestigious music festival T In The Park (Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July).

Ìý

Once again, Â鶹Éç Scotland is back to pitch its tent at T In The Park, with Edith and Dougie presenting a mixture of live broadcasts of key performances and exclusive onsite interviews - ensuring armchair music fans don't miss out on all the festival action from Balado, Kinross.

Ìý

Radio 1 DJ Edith is looking forward to another year of festival fever: "For me it's almost like a homecoming getting back up the road for T In The Park.

Ìý

"Such an important date in the diary and I'm over the moon, and just a wee bit excited, to be covering the festival for Radio 1 and Â鶹Éç Scotland.

Ìý

"Over the past 11 years it's grown to levels that have the biggest bands in the world vying to play. Whenever I speak to any musicians about T, they always speak with such enthusiasm about the event and in particular the Scottish crowd who some see as the best audiences in the world. I'd have to agree."

Ìý

Dougie adds: "Having presented T In the Park for several years, the bands that are attracted to the festival seem to get stronger and stronger every year.

Ìý

"Not only do we have established bands like New Order, Super Furry Animals and Snoop Dogg, we've also got some of the best new bands performing - such as the Futureheads and Sons and Daughters.

Ìý

"On top of that, the return of The La's is a personal high point. I am thoroughly looking forward to presenting, and coupled with the fact that I'm doing it with Edith makes it very exciting as we're good friends and music soul mates."

Ìý

Edith and Dougie will take viewers through the weekend of live music which brings together 69,000 music fans each day - 170 live music acts across ten stages in one unforgettable weekend.

Ìý

Â鶹Éç Scotland's T In The Park coverage will be available on both Â鶹Éç THREE and Â鶹Éç TWO Scotland, with highlights on Â鶹Éç ONE Scotland.
