Âé¶¹Éç London calling: celebrating London's new music scene at the Borderline


Âé¶¹Éç London 94.9's Gary Crowley will be hosting Âé¶¹Éç London Calling at the Borderline on 7 June to celebrate London's new musical talent as part of the City Showcase – London's leading festival of new music which takes place from 4 to 8 June at various London venues.

Âé¶¹Éç London Calling will be showcasing some of the finest talent in the capital and the bill includes:

Ìý

  • Fat Sue, 18-year-old indie popsters from Southwark;
  • Von Kleet, a three piece from Croydon;
  • and the talented Rumer of Rumer & The Denials, a singer/songwriter from Brixton who will be performing with her band, wowing the crowds with her beautiful compositions and smokey vocals.

There will also be a few surprises on the night. Big names from the music world will take to the stage to perform two acoustic tracks each.

This is a night you will not want to miss and it's all for free!

Tune into Âé¶¹Éç London 94.9FM or Âé¶¹Éç London News from Monday 21 May to hear how you can get your hands on one of the 100 free tickets. One hundred and fifty tickets will also be on the door at the Borderline on the night on a first-come-first-served basis.
