Mindgames for the BrainBoxes on Â鶹Éç Daytime

Emma Swain, Acting Controller, Â鶹Éç Daytime and Early Peak, has commissioned a brand new "brain-games" format for Â鶹Éç Two from Â鶹Éç Entertainment Manchester.

BrainBox will see challengers compete head to head in high jeopardy mind games that require both mental agility and raw nerve.
Ìý
Many scientists now believe that putting your brain through daily exercises improves memory and communication. Research shows that these mental exercises can have a significant and beneficial effect on health and wellbeing.
Ìý
So, BrainBox was developed to ensure that viewers get the mental workout they need.

The show comprises a collection of cleverly formatted games designed to flex viewers' neurons and sharpen cognitive skills.
Ìý
These games have been developed with psychologists and are structured around three distinct areas – sequencing, language and memory.
Ìý
Contestants play for money and one wrong answer means they could be knocked out at any point and walk away with nothing. They have to decide to enter a round before they know if it is a game that plays to their strengths.

A range of complementary interactive services has also been developed to allow the Â鶹Éç to bring these benefits to as wide a section of its audience as possible.
