By sending your submission to us, you are agreeing that we may use your contribution on 麻豆社 platforms.
We may use your video, audio, text, image, age, first name, location and social handle.
Depending on the type of contribution you are sending, we will ask for different types of personal data which, as well as the above may include your second name, email address, telephone number.
At times we may also ask for contributions on a subject which is classed as special category data. This may include: health information, sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, gender, ethnicity or political opinions.
All data will be stored in line with the 麻豆社’s data protection policy.

麻豆社 The Social is an award-winning digital platform based in Glasgow that has developed new creative talent since 2015.
In this time we have won RTS Awards, produced hundreds of videos and seen content creators progress their careers into presenting, researching, producing and directing.
With more young people creating content themselves, we now want to harness and develop those skills to tell the stories young people are interested in.
To do this, we are working with our colleagues in 麻豆社 Scotland News to create topical and diverse videos, using content creators across Scotland, to tell stories for 18 - 34s.
We are looking for people either with interesting stories to tell, or who are keen to explore news topics of interest to them.
Recent examples are The STI That’s Back , I Clean Glasgow’s Streets While You Sleep, and Edinburgh’s Bike Scheme.
Our production team will script, film and produce, as you tell your story, giving you an invaluable insight into the production industry. This content could be shared with a huge audience across the 麻豆社 social platforms.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Anyone currently living in Scotland who is over 18 and eager to make interesting digital content.
DO YOU NEED EXPERIENCE?
We do ask for some social onscreen experience to pitch ideas for content which will be shot and edited by The Social team or for you to have a specialism in a certain subject.
DO I GET PAID?
You do! Once an idea is commissioned by The Social team, we will discuss payment for what you will be doing.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We will work with you to develop your idea and script and introduce you to the team you will be working with. We will film and edit your content in collaboration with our 麻豆社 Scotland News team.
CAN YOU APPLY MORE THAN ONCE?
Yes, this is a rolling application form which means there is no open or close date. We will be looking for you to get in touch with any ideas you think will fit with our content remit.
